Our Policies Are Accepted When You Become a Member

When you become a member of Olympia Gymnastics & Cheer, you accept the following policies.
Dress Code
These requirements are for the Safety of your Child(ren) and are necessary for participation.

Girls and Boys can wear any form of flexible clothing that is absent of hoods, skirts, snaps, buttons and zippers. Clothing that is overly loose and baggy can make it more difficult for the instructors to spot your child. Long hair must be in a ponytail. Avoid anything that is hard on their head. Bare feet are required and no jewelry can be worn.  No clothing that has vulgar language will be allowed in the gym or viewing area out of respect of all families.

Modesty is asked to be considered when dressing your child.  If staff feels at any point modesty is an issue, staff will address the parent in private & will be asked to correct it. 

Tumbling will require form fitting athletic wear without hoods, skirts, zippers, snaps or buttons. Bare feet are required. Long hair must be up in ponytails and please do not use scrunchies or holders with hard pieces. No baggy clothing, mid drift shirts or jewelry including cloth bracelets, anklets, or chokers will be permitted.

~Ninja Zone Dress Code~
All students are required to wear the Ninja Zone Uniform to participate in class. The Uniform consists of the Ninja Zone T-shirt and headband. This is a separate purchase that is made directly to Ninja Zone. Your welcome email will include a link that will take you directly to the Ninja Zone website to order. You will have the choice of a cotton T-shirt or the performance dry fit T-shirt and both will include the headband. This order will come directly to the address you provide. 

Tuition Policy

Tuition is due in full when a student is registered for class session. If the payment is not paid in full, payment arrangements must be made and a credit card must be on file in your account.

If payment arrangements are made and the balance is to be paid after Week 3,  a $25 late fee is applied. If the balance is not paid in full by the 4th week of the session, the student will be removed from the class and possibly lose his / her spot due to the wait list. This tuition policy also applies to all mid-session registrations. 

Tuition is not refundable or transferable unless a doctor's note states the student is ill or injured and cannot participate in class.  Tuition is non refundable as you are holding a spot in class. Olympia's classes are in high demand and usually fill to capacity.

A $25 FEE IS APPLIED TO ALL RETURNED CHECKS

Camp Policy

Summer Camps require payment in full upon enrollment.  $50 cancellation fee 7 days prior to camp event date.  $100 cancellation fee 48 hours prior to camp event date. Holiday or any "special" camp will require payment in full and is NON REFUNDABLE or TRANSFERABLE. Camps will fill quickly and we do turn students away. 

Only with a doctor's note stating the child is ill or injured will any payments be refunded or applied to parent account as a credit. 

Disciplinary actions are taken to keep everyone safe in the gym. Staff will go over the rules of camp during stretch time. A verbal warning is given to students followed by time out if the rule is broken for 2nd time. Any physical harm to another camper or staff member will result in termination of camp enrollment and no refund will be given. It is up to Olympia's staff and the coaches' discretion to allow the camper back to camp. 

NO ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE IS DUE IF STUDENT IS ONLY ENROLLED IN CAMPS OR PNO.

Open Gym Policy

Olympia staff is present in the gym to address safety concerns as they happen. Children aged 8 years and under must have an adult with them at all times in the gym during Open Gym. Olympia staff is only responsible for students while they are inside the gym. 

If you choose to drop your child off, Olympia staff is not responsible after they leave the gym and Open Gym is complete. Children are not allowed to be unattended in the viewing area. We understand if something happens and there is a small delay in you retrieving your child, but Olympia is not responsible for them in the viewing area or if they leave the viewing area and go outside.

Pick Up Policy

Parent or Guardian is responsible to pick up student from class INSIDE.  Olympia is not responsible to supervise student once class has ended.  

For your child's safety, please be on site at least 5 minutes before class has ended to ensure your child is escorted from class to your vehicle safely by you a responsible adult that you have authorized to pick up your child.  Olympia Gymnastics is not a daycare facility nor is it a drop of facility.  If you choose to drop your child off during class you are responsible for their safety after class is over.

Membership Fee

There is an annual membership fee of $45.00 for the first child & $25.00 for subsequent child / children. MEMBERSHIP FEES APPLY TO CLASS STUDENTS AND PRIVATE LESSON STUDENTS ONLY.

Makeup Policy

Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will be made up ONLY in the session in which the class was missed & as class space allows.  Call 210-826-4296 to check availability.

Safety Policy

Parents are not allowed in gym during camps or classes for their own safety and the safety and privacy of other students. Parents are allowed during Open Gym & Mommy & Me Class after a waiver has been signed. 

  • Coaches are USA Gymnastics (USAG) Safety Certified and there is always a CPR / First Aid Certified employee on premises
  • Parent or Guardian is Responsible for student as soon as class is over.  If you choose to leave the property, as soon as class is over, Olympia is not responsible for the student.
  • Security cameras are in place throughout the gym
  • There are 5 emergency exits located in the gym
  • Coaches are contractually obligated to report any misconduct by other employees as well as adhering to Olympia's strict coach's conduct policy.

Drop Class Policy

  • Only Monthly Classes are Dropped.  
  • Sessions are NOT auto enrollment & there is no need to drop class. 
  • If your child comes to the next session without enrolling & attends class, Olympia will take the participation in class as an enrollment in the next session & tuition will be charged for that session.
If a student stops coming to class without notification and you are on a payment plan, the student's account will be charged for the remainder of the session. This charge will be for holding the student's place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on the wait list.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Olympia Gymnastics & Cheer uses and protects any information that you give Olympia Gymnastics when you use this website.

TEXTS AND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS: Olympia sends out notices in the form of texts and emails like reminders for camps, classes etc. If you want to be removed from the texts, please email  ogcspeed@gmail.com or call 210-826-4296 directly. You can also text "STOP" to unsubscribe to texts. If you want to unsubscribe to emails, you may simply check the UNSUBSCRIBE TO EMAIL box at the bottom of any email sent. 

When becoming a member of Olympia Gymnastics & Cheer, you hereby agree to the rules, terms & conditions and you acknowledge that you will receive texts and email reminders periodically from Olympia Gymnastics.
